[DCRM-L] Capitalization question

Isn't this one of those questions that regularly comes up? I thought it was a capital The because it's not a possessive and so more like a quoted title. In any case, that's what I would do.

Which is the more correct capitalization?
Here beginneth a good boke of medecines called the treasure of pore men
OR
Here beginneth a good boke of medecines called The treasure of pore men
That is, is the chief title, which is embedded in the title proper, more like a quoted title, or more like Eileen Ford’s a more beautiful you in 21 days?
