[DCRM-L] Bob Maxwell wins ABC-CLIO award

I would only amend Larry's comment to say, "Recognition in the form of awards is long overdue...". I have been using my copies of Bob's books in training for years. Of particular use has been Maxwell's Guide to Authority Work since it explains some of the more esoteric issues (for newer catalogers) so well, such as uniform titles and series. I know that we catalogers have been using Bob's books and also that publishers recognize him, since he has (apparently) been green-lighted on every subject about which he wants to write!  But now, with this ABC-CLIO award, I am just so thrilled to see my friend receive such a high honor. Recognition for Bob is long overdue.  I can't comment on the book itself because I can't get it from the head of our cataloging unit!  I may need to buy my own.
