[DCRM-L] New Controlled Vocabularies Terms

Dear Colleagues,

The following 5 new genre terms have been accepted by the CV editorial group, and will be added to the RBMS Controlled Vocabularies Genre Terms:

  *   Memorial works
  *   Election sermons
  *   Gesta
  *   Directories
  *   City directories


Two terms were recommended for deletion:

  *   Alphabets
  *   Oriental tales


Nine new scope notes will be posted tomorrow, July 28th, to the RBMS Controlled Vocabularies Community Discussion blog http://rbms.info/cv-comments/
The comment period will run through Wednesday, Aug. 5th.  Please chime in with your comments.

  *   Anagrams
  *   Anatomical atlases
  *   Anniversary sermons
  *   Annual reports
  *   Anti-Catholic literature
  *   Anti-clerical literature
  *   Anti-communist literature
  *   Anti-homosexual literature
  *   Novenas
