Are you a recent or soon-to-be graduate starting your librarian job search?
Thinking of transitioning to a different kind of library or position? Never
fear, ANMIG is here!

On Tuesday, April 23rd at 2 PM EST, we will have three librarians join us
on Twitter to chat about job hunting tips and advice for navigating the
daunting application/interview process. ANMIG members Sharon Reidt and
Nariné Bournoutian will be your hosts. Our guests are:

   -

Susanne Markgren: Assistant Director for Technical Services at Manhattan
College, contributor to Library Career People
   <https://librarycareerpeople.com/> and author of Career Q&A: A
Librarian's Real-Life, Practical Guide to Managing a Successful Career
   -

Davis Erin Anderson: Community Engagement Manager at the Metropolitan
Library Council and editor of Career Transitions for Librarians: Proven
Strategies for Moving to Another Type of Library
   -

Raymond Pun: Instructional and Research Librarian at Alder Graduate
School of Education and editor of Career Transitions for Librarians:
Proven Strategies for Moving to Another Type of Library

ANMIG twitter chats will follow a similar format to other library chats.
Moderators will tweet out questions starting with Q [number of question]
(e.g. Q1, Q2, and Q3). Followers will tweet back the answers using A
[Number of Question] (e.g. A1, A2, and A3). Make sure to use #ANMIGchat in
all of your tweets!

We hope to see you there!
