Hope you are well!
Thank you again for your excellent training earlier this year, at State Library NSW. What a strange world we are in now compared to February when all there was to worry about was the crappy Sydney weather!

I'm hoping you have the time to answer a question I have about how to best interpret the BIBCO Standard Record RDA Metadata Application Profile. I'm a bit confused by the notes/provisions concerning 'archival materials'.

I'm presently developing some training for cataloguers working in an archival management system but using DCRM (G) for original paintings and rare art prints etc. I'm aiming to direct them across to the BSR-RDA-MAP. I've worked on the basis that the BSR-RDA-MAP provisions/notes concerning either 'rare materials' and 'graphic materials' should be followed if using DCRM (G).

My question is: Would you expect that the BSR-RDA-MAP provisions concerning 'archival materials' are also be followed if a cataloguer was describing material that was being described as a collection according to DCRM (G) Appendix B?

I'm sorry that I don't have a more interesting question!
