[DCRM-L] OCLC Connexion / WorldCat indexing of MARC 510 field

I’ve often thought it would be very useful to have 510s indexed, so will just echo what Kathie and others have said. One more vote in favor of doing this.

I just want to add my vote to everyone else's: Yes, please index it, for all the reasons everyone has mentioned. I have often wondered why in the world this field wasn't in the keyword index to start with (and now wonder why in the world anyone would NOT want it indexed).

Does anyone have an explanation for that?
