Colleagues,

The RBMS Bibliographic Standards Member Merge Task Group seeks input on its draft of an OCLC document: Merging Duplicate Graphic Material Records: A Field-by-Field Comparison. Previously the Task Group has been concerned with revising existing OCLC merge documents to add guidance for rare materials, but as there was not a document covering graphic material, we have created one in collaboration with OCLC. This document draws largely on the previously approved revisions to OCLC's Merging Duplicate Books Records<https://help.oclc.org/WorldCat/Metadata_Quality/Member_Merge/Merging_duplicate_books_records_A_field_by_field_comparison>, and incorporates suggestions from the Library of Congress' Prints & Photographs Division.

Please make any comments directly in the Google doc by August 3rd.
