[DCRM-L] plate numbering

I'll cast my vote for "unnumbered." The plates are referred to by number
within the text because they appear in a definite order. The plates
themselves do not bear numbers.

If you recorded the plate as being numbered, and I encountered that same
plate on its own in a print collection with a dealer's note saying "Plate
from... " I'd question the dealer's identification of the source because
I'd expect the print in hand to have a number on it.
