2B1. I brought this up at the meeting last weekend in reference to DCRM(B).
I would like to see in 2B1 an explicit statement not to abbreviate in the
edition area, because it is contrary to AACR2. I know this is understood
from other rules in DCRM, but I suggest it might be useful to restate it here.
2B1(b) example might have a typo. The edition statement is French, yet the
word "Edicion" is spelled as though it were Spanish. This may be a real
example, but if so it is misleading and should be replaced (or at least
have "[sic]"). Otherwise, just spell it "Edition."
