[DCRM-L] DCRM(B) cataloging in OCLC

At the Folger, we're getting ready to apply for Enhance status sooner
rather than later, for the very reasons Randy and others have mentioned.

I've been using OCLC to catalog for a full two weeks now, and frequently
find records for rare books that are not coded bdrb, dcrb, &c., but seem
to have been cataloged using one of the special codes. For that reason
alone I would not support parallel records for AACR2 and DCRM(B)
descriptive cataloging conventions. (Bob, looks like you're on your own
for that one!)

Deborah

I agree with Jain and Randal. I believe we do not need any more
duplicate records in OCLC, but enhancing records is a great help to us
all.
