[DCRM-L] (B3) 1D5: Latin alternative title?

On the verso of that title page you read "alii legitimas alii legatinas vocant" (some call them legitimae, others legatinae), so the second is an alternative word rather than alternative title.

I think, as John Says, they're adjectives, with case ending "e" for "ae" (as
also in the word "Anglicane"). There's nothing for them to modify as
adverbs.
