Patrick,
The “z” = “m” after the letters “u” or “a” at the end of a word. See Dizionario di abbreviature latine et Italian / Adriano Cappelli (Milan: Hoepli, 1979), page XLI.
(as you point out, the turned “n” = “u”)

I thought I should follow up with a picture of the t.p.

I received a suggestion that the "n" is an upside-down "u" and that appears to be the case, but what's really confusing me is the z-resembling contraction mark that usually indicates "-us."
Thanks,
Patrick

I fixing the record (OCLC#699799939) for a breviary (Bohatta 62) and I'm not sure what the correct transcription is; the record was input from a card without the book in hand. The title page has what I would transcribe as:

Breuiarin[us] Roman[um]
This seems wrong. Does that construction make sense? I don't see it in any other records. Could it be a typo? I'm not sure if the list allows attachments, but I can send a photo off-list.
Thanks,
Patrick
