[DCRM-L] Rare serial question

Hello all:

For all of your cataloguers outthere who do rare serials ...

An intellectual question... I have a contemporary reprint of a 17th 
century French serial where the issues have been gathered and printed 
with continuous pagination.

Each issue has the colophon of the new printer.

Is this still a serial?

Soliciting opinions before I launch into this one.
