[DCRM-L] Recording restrike date in field 264

Dear colleagues,

I am currently cataloguing the restrike of a print and I am not certain how I should record the date of printing of a non-published document using MARC field 264 (with ind. 2 = 0).
Examples under 4G. seem to reflect the syntax that was used in field 260.

Ex.: [1728] ([1860 restrike])

Since there is no $e subfield defined in field 264, and considering that field 264 ind. 2 = 3 is only used for published documents (or am I wrong?), I envisaged two possibilities :

Option 1 :
, 1994 [2010 printing]
(with, field 008, positions 06-14, coded: r20101994).

or

Option 2:
, 1994

General note: Printed in 2010 at Boréalis laboratoire photo
(with, field 008, positions 06-14, coded: r20101994)

Which option would you choose?
I checked the DCRM-L archives but could not find any mail on “Restrike in field 264”
